Our Mission: Alabama Family Ties (AFT)  works to end stigma and discrimination against families raising children with all disabilities and to increase the availability of and access to high quality services for children and youth who have mental, emotional, behavioral and physical disabilities in all child serving systems.

Our Vision: Alabama Family Ties envisions a State of Alabama in which families raising children who have mental, emotional, behavioral and physical disabilities receive social support in their communities and are treated as experts by professionals in all child serving systems; and their children remain at home, in school, out of trouble, and grow up to live independently.
